This application provides a simple centralized system of ideas, proposals or suggestions that allows users to share some thoughts, recommend some changes or solutions that needs to be voted in order to be implemented.
There are 2 ways of displaying the list of the existing ideas in a wiki: the homepage of the application and any other wiki page that use the macro provided by the application.
The homepage lists all the submitted ideas in a livetable where the general info is displayed for each idea.
The livetable is filterable and sortable which makes it easier to query.
Each user viewing the page is able to easily detect what ideas has already voted (the votes are highlighted) and what the vote options were or who initiated the idea.
The voting can be also done without accessing the idea page, directly from the livetable, clicking on yes/no field.
A new idea can be proposed from this page using the Create button from the top of the page.

Recent ideas macro
This macro also lists all ideas and the number of votes, but, unlike the livetable, no actions can be performed on this list. There are 2 ways of using a macro in a wiki page as also described in Writing Macros documentation:
Using the macro from WYSIWYG editor
Edit a wiki page in WYSIWYG mode and look in the tool bar for the icon (XWiki Macro) then search for Recent Ideas and set the number of ideas to be displayed.
Using the macro from wiki editor (code)
Edit the page in wiki mode and write the following code snippet:
Where the macro parameter limit is the maximum number of ideas that you want to be displayed on your page. Its default value is 5.
If, instead, you don't want to set a maximum number of ideas, remove the limit parameter and all of them will be displayed.
This is how it will look like before adding ideas:
And after adding them:
Create new idea
In order to create a new idea, click Create button from the top of the page and the next step will display a list of available templates where you can find the one corresponding to ideas.
Idea Details
Access details by clicking on the idea.
